Meeting Planner Lightning Component

With Meeting Planner, you’ll never have to worry about scheduling hassles for your next meeting again! This lightning component makes it easy to check the time zones of your participants from different locations and select a date & time that works for everyone. Stop wasting time dealing with conflicting schedules and make sure everyone is on the same page with Meeting Planner. Start having successful meetings today!

The Meeting Planner Lightning Component can be placed on Home or any lightning record pages. The Salesforce Administrator typically changes the layouts for these pages and adds the component in a desired location.

Meeting Planner

After the component is added to the desired page, the Salesforce user can add locations to it by searching from the Location input box. After you found the desired location, click the icon to add it to the list.
Use the Start Date and End Date input fields to define the dates that you are planning for the meeting or event. The values shown in these fields are based on your Salesforce user time zone settings.
Select the option to change the time display format.
Click the icon to make a specific location the first item in the list. The rest of the locations in the list will then be updated to show their time zones relative to this Home location. In the example screenshot shown above, New York is set as the Home location. With reference to New York, the list shows Los Angeles as -3 hours from Home and London as 5 hours from Home respectively.
The date and time values shown in the list support Daylight Saving Time (DST).

After you have finalized the list, click the

icon to copy the meeting plan to the clipboard. Following is the copied content for the above example.

Suggested schedule for the meeting:

New York, NY, USA:
Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 10:00 AM EST - Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 11:00 AM EST

Los Angeles, CA, USA:
Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 07:00 AM PST - Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 08:00 AM PST

Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 03:00 PM GMT - Mon, Jan 30, 2023, 04:00 PM GMT

You are now ready to schedule the meeting (Salesforce Calendar event or Microsoft Outlook or any other tool). Optionally, you can paste the schedule from the clipboard in the meeting invite.
